WHAT MAKES A BETTER WATER EFFICIENT IRRIGATION?
As every landscape is unique, so too the Sprinkler Systems. Shape and size of areas to be watered and available water supply are the primary considerations along with soil types, slope of ground, wind direction and strength, as well as patterns of sun and shade. Individual planting arrangements and their requirements must also be taken into account.
A One Stop Irrigation System will identify and take into consideration the above points, by applying water evenly and precisely, when and where required.
There are two ways to apply water to your landscape.
Drip Irrigation
A dripper irrigation system applies water slowly, evenly and effectively at the plants root zone. You can gain a high degree of control as each emitter covers a very localised area (typically 20 – 50 cm).
Because Dripper Irrigation is a low pressure system, a pressure regulating device is required, and because drippers are the smallest of all emitters, a filter is required to prevent blockages.
Spray Irrigation
A Spray Irrigation System covers larger areas with less number of water emitters. There are many shapes and sizes of spray sprinklers available, so you can target accurately only those areas you wish to water.
With good design advice and careful sprinkler placement, a very efficient sprinkler system can be achieved.
Whatever system you choose, the required process is the same fro an efficient Irrigation System.
